Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy
Objective
Switching Technologies Gunther Limited is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace for all employees. The Company has adopted a Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Policy in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and applicable SEBI Regulations.
The Policy aims to prevent, prohibit, and provide redressal of sexual harassment of women at the workplace, and thereby facilitate the provision of equal opportunity to women in the workforce.
Scope and definitions
The Policy covers all employees, directors, contractors, vendors, visitors, and any other person engaged at the workplace. "Sexual harassment" is defined in accordance with the POSH Act, 2013, and includes unwelcome acts or behaviour — whether directly or by implication — such as physical contact and advances, a demand or request for sexual favours, making sexually coloured remarks, showing pornography, or any other unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature.
Internal Complaints Committee
The Company has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in accordance with the requirements of the POSH Act, 2013. The ICC comprises at least one external member drawn from an NGO or other body committed to the cause of women or a person familiar with issues relating to sexual harassment. The composition of the ICC is displayed prominently at the workplace.
The ICC investigates complaints of sexual harassment and makes recommendations to management for remedial action. All ICC proceedings are conducted in a fair, time-bound, and confidential manner.
Reporting and annual disclosure
The number of complaints received, disposed of, and pending as at the end of the financial year is disclosed in the Annual Report of the Company in accordance with Section 22 of the POSH Act, 2013. The Company is committed to zero tolerance of sexual harassment at the workplace.
